Our delicious dishes:
Freshly prepared for you every day
On Tuesdays and Sundays there are our highlights “Barbecue“ and “Raclette“
Small snacks and drinks during the aperitif hour
Wholesome, daily changing main course, alternating with starter or dessert
Non-alcoholic drinks are included
Social togetherness with other guests and your hosts at one table
The dinner is aimed at our guests who have booked a week-long trip
(active holiday, adventure trip, canyoning holiday and so on) in which full board is included.
After the eventful day, all of the weekly guests meet for dinner, enjoy the evening sun in Ribeira Brava and
usually exchange ideas about their experiences.
On the first and last evening we serve you a tasty dinner at Casa Vento in Madeira from 7:30 p.m., which takes
place in the open air if the weather is good. We eat the daily changing evening menu with all guests together
at a large table, so you can look forward to a culinary surprise! On the other evenings of the week we have
dinner in the restaurant, where I order a menu for us in advance. Mild air and wonderful sunsets accompany you
during your evening meal, which alternates every day with a starter or dessert.
Our special raclette and barbecue evenings in our house are very popular! Both events can be booked separately.
I, Sibel, am responsible for your physical well-being in the evening and would like
to be a good host for your meals.
Our guests really appreciate being together and indulging in culinary delights. It is one of the most beautiful and pleasant moments of the day - eating together. The evening meal in Casa Vento usually takes place on our terrace, so that not only the palate but also - because of the unique view - the eyes are spoiled. On cooler or rainy days, we make ourselves comfortable in our dining room. You are warmly welcomed and enjoy yourself!
On two evenings I serve two courses, consisting of a main course and alternating starters or desserts. For starters there is, for example, leaf lettuce with a honey-mustard dressing, the well-known Bolo do Caco or a delicious pumpkin soup. Our main courses include my hearty gratinated pancakes, vegetable or minced meat lasagne and much more. For a sweet dessert, I serve a bee sting dessert, a chocolate tiramisu, a delicious apple dream or a piece of delicious raspberry cake.
In order to add a little variety to the cuisine, we will dine in a restaurant on the remaining evenings. I will have agreed a menu with the kitchen there in advance so that we can look forward to a variety of tasty delicacies every evening. Only one evening a week, usually on your day off, are you on your own and can discover on your own what Madeiran gastronomy has to offer. We would be happy to give you our recommendations for a few restaurants in Ribeira Brava.
