The Active Vacation Plus in Madeira, Portugal
is a complete vacation package for active guests. It includes accommodation, breakfast and packed
lunches, a welcome dinner, five different sports activities and of course the airport transfer.
Get to know Madeira in a very special way:
Sibel and Michael from Casa Vento Madeira will show you many secrets of the island during
your one-week active vacation. Various activities such as hiking,
via ferrata or canyoning will take you to the depths and
heights of Madeira. Discover distant gorges, the highest peaks and the steep coastline on
foot, by car or in a wetsuit and on a rope. We promise you unique and above all unforgettable
experiences that you won't find in a travel guide.
Sibel is known for its rich breakfast offerings, and the packed lunches, which you can have
put together individually, are also very popular. In order to be able to cater for the widely
diverging tastes at dinner in recent years due to intolerances or allergies, we offer a
vegetarian welcome menu (2 courses) on the day of arrival. On the other days we will visit
the local restaurants with you (at cost price!). You can give free rein to your spirit of
discovery and try local specialties or rely on tried and tested dishes.
So that you only have to worry about your flight, we will of course pick you up at Funchal
Airport on the day of arrival and bring you back after your trip. Individual solutions are
also possible, such as earlier arrival or later departure, transfer to another location in
Madeira after your active vacation, etc. Please discuss such ideas with
us in advance, we are sure to find a good solution.

The mainstay of an active vacation is almost always the various activities such as hiking,
climbing, canyoning, mountain biking and so on. This is also the case at Casa Vento Madeira,
we have selected some of the highlights from our wide range of activities and put them together
to create a colorful mix for mind and body.
The plus in the name stands for a more extensive range of experiences.
Compared to the regular active vacation, we have added an additional tour to the offer,
and we have also included some special highlights in the program.
The picture package is also available free of charge as an additional inclusive service.

You have a free choice: Holiday home with pool (80m², large eat-in kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, balcony, terrace, pool), fully equipped private apartment (45m², kitchen, shower room, 30m² terrace, bedroom, living room) or single or double room in Casa Vento. If you would like to camp, we can set up an igloo tent with a real mattress in our beautiful garden.
In the morning, you will be delighted by the sun and the sea view at Sibel's extensive breakfast buffet. For the active day you will receive an individually prepared packed lunch: fruit, sandwich, drink, bar. On the day of arrival, Sibel prepares a delicious two-course menu, and the rest of the evening we indulge ourselves in the surrounding restaurants.
Various challenges and exciting experiences await you over five days: hike the legendary PR1 from Pico Arieiro to Pico Ruivo, discover the wild and rugged coastline and experience the Ponta do Clerigo, including a via ferrata directly above the sea. My personal highlight are the two canyoning tours that take you into the most remote gorges.
